INBERSO facilitates funding of technological projects emerged in Universities, Technological Centres and Scientific Parks, making optimum use of their success potential, thus contributing to consolidate a competitive and innovative business network.
Bellow you will find FAQs related to INBERSO’s nature, goals and functioning.
Inberso is a platform where Iberoamerican technological investors have the opportunity to present their proposals to several professional investors with no need to go to their workplace.
Likewise, if you are an investor, you can visualize numerous technological start-ups in our virtual directory and select those that better match your investment criteria. You will also obtain relevant information about the initiative and you can contact the company’s creators.
Inberso has a virtual platform where entrepreneurs in the technological field have an individualized profile where they showcase their initiative, providing at least a general introduction of their core business, along with an executive summary, contact information and funding needs.
Upon receiving the information, the project will be analyzed and, if it meets the platform’s criteria, the membership will be confirmed within less than three working days in most of the cases.
This project directory located in the website’s private area will be accessible only to investors with a proven track record of investments in such initiatives and a vested interest in them.
INBERSO is mainly directed at groups or individuals specialized in early-stage investment in technological projects.
Some of our investors:Co-Inberso Network is a tool that enables investors interested in the same project to get in touch through our website, regardless of their country of origin. You will gain access to a Professional Network comprising renowned investors and companies.
This instrument enables members to select technological initiatives and find other companies interested in co-investing in the same initiative. Members will only be contacted by those investors who previously selected that project.
VC firms take temporary shares of the companies’ share capital. Generally, these are not financial or property companies, neither are they not listed on official secondary markets.
VC is normally an indicator of economic development and dynamism. This financial asset is a catalytic of new innovative and enterprising initiatives, capable of modernising the countries’ business sector, thus making it far more competitive.
Individuals with vast knowledge in different fields and robust investment capacity specialized in funding of early-stage high-potential, growth projects, and providing management support. These investors also support business projects although they do not get involved in the company’s day-to-day activity; they rather provide an added value. This is what we call friendly capital.
Pursuant to the Spanish official gazette, «spin-offs» are founded by employees in public or private R&D centres without invention; companies that license technology belonging to a university or public research centre; companies that create technological parks or incubators of companies within the public sector, universities or companies where universities or public centres hold shares.
Universities and scientific-technological research groups comprise several research groups that are constantly working with the aim of developing new knowledge and technology. Quite frequently, these projects come to a halt because of lack of funding before the actual launch of the end-product or service to the market.
INBERSO’s goal is to channel private investors’ resources in order to overcome such deficit. This enables the Research Group to carry out the necessary laboratory tests or to continue developing prototypes required before launching an end-product. These are the research lines that can be included in INBERSO.
INBERSO comprises a network of private investors specialized in technological investment. However, as investors, they are obviously interested in feasible projects that are useful for the market. For this reason, they might be interested in scientific or technological findings that are already tested and protected.
INBERSO aims at attracting the most interesting patents of scientific institutions or technological companies in order to present them to investors. Generated knowledge is therefore transformed into a valuable asset for the society, universities and companies.
